Beverly is a member of the International Sports Sciences Association. Having been featured in dozens of national and international magazines, Beverly has been recognized by SwagHer Magazine, Meta, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Black Speakers Network.
Previously, she was a military officer in the Army. Beverly is a proud graduate from Alabama A&M University. She currently lives in Alabama with her dog diva, Zoe.

My struggles manifested in my thoughts and body weight. Not only did I have negative thoughts. I felt bad about myself.
as a zumba instructor, my a-ha moment came once i realized i wanted to impact women like me, caretakers who often forget about themselves.
I went on a journey to shed pounds and bad habits that prevented me from losing and keeping off the weight.
My own genesis sparked a mind over movement inside of me. I found purpose in my pain and channeled that energy into others. I would have never imagined that so many people women would struggle the same way I did. I knew I needed to help them.

I’ve gone through my own genesis to live an epic life. my mission is to coach and support others do the same.
I don’t have it all together. My dog will side eye me if I even claimed I did. I want you to know that we’re on this journey together though. Sure, I have literal skin in the game, but I’m right alongside you going through this eye-opening, spirit-awakening journey too.
No one is perfect, and even after working with me you still won’t be.

It’s about creating a healthy lifestyle that motivates you to keep going – not only because of the outside results but because of the inner impact.
It’s not about attainable standards. It’s not about trying to be and look like everyone else. It’s about showing up for yourself, taking up space, and being confident, knowing that any work you put in will pay off.
